Is this how Digitalize Plus charges?

Yes. Every project uses milestone payments: a deposit to start (usually 50%), with the balance split across completed phases. Exact amounts are always in the proposal before work begins.

Why are milestone payments safer for me?

You do not pay in full for work that does not exist yet. Each payment follows a completed phase you can review, reducing the risk of paying everything before delivery.
